To be auctioned at the July Championship Show
Proceeds to go towards SM research
The figure is 26 cm (10 inch) tall and the base is set upon a wooden plinth measuring 23cmx13cm (9x5 inches). It´s inscribed with “Tavey”, the name of the foundry (The Morris Singer Foundry LTD) and 1/12 - meaning the first one of 12 made. But there is a certificate of authentication which states the edition is limited to 10.
“Rudi” is modelled on the red smooth boy owned by the late Miss Margaret Newton Dunn, on her death in 2009 it was left to Joan Tribe, who has very generously donated it to the GBBA for the benefit of Griffons.
