Judges List Criteria for 2008
(Second part)

Criteria: Judges who have been approved by the Committee of the Association to judge the breed at a Championship show where Challenge Certificates are not on offer, and at Open shows where four or more classes are scheduled.

Specialists
Qualifications: (At the discretion of the Committee)
a) At least five years active in the Breed.
b) To have judged a minimum of 20 dogs of the Breed at Open show level (including those judged at the Association’s Judges Assessment).
c) To have attended at least one Breed Seminar.
d) To have successfully passed the Associations’s Judges Assessment with a minimum pass of 75%.
(* denotes those who have passed).
e) Those judges who have been approved by the Kennel Club to judge the Toy Group at Championship shows and have the approval of the Association.

Non-breed Specialists
Qualifications: (At the discretion of the Committee)
a) To have judged a minimum of 20 dogs of the Breed at Open show level
b) To have attended at least one Breed Seminar
c) To have successfully passed the Associations Judges Assessment with a minimum pass of 75%.
(*denotes those who have passed from 2000 onwards)
d) To have awarded Challenge Certificates in their own breed
e) Those judges who have been approved by the Kennel Club to judge the Toy Group at Championship shows and have the approval of the Association.

C List
Specialists
Criteria: (At the discretion of the Committee) For aspiring judges who have been at least five years active in the breed and show ring and attended at least one Seminar on the Breed.

Non-breed Specialists
Criteria: (At the discretion of the Committee)
a) To have shown a definite interest in the Breed for five years.
b) To have judged for a minimum of five years with at least 50 classes of any breed.
c) To have attended one Seminar on the Breed.
